The Munich show was at the Olympiahalle...a small covered venue similar to the one in Stuttgart.  Again the whole
floor was GA and SRO (no seats). There was a ring around the floor where you could sit, but as in Stuttgart, most
people were on the floor.

This show really blew me away.  I am an old-school Cure fan, and I have always dreamed about a set like this and
finally my prayers have been answered.

The show started out the same as Stuttgart (and most other places)...with Out of this World thru Open.  Then
we got Pictures of You which has alot of sentimentality for me, so I really enjoyed it.  It was very emotional and
the band really sounded tight.

Maybe Someday was next and better than in Stuttgart.

As I heard the next few chords on the keyboard being played, I nearly wet my pants.....it was Sinking and was
absolutely fabulous. Very serene and dreamy.  I felt like I was floating on air. This is definitely another huge
favorite of mine, and along with a few of the other songs played this night, I had never seen it live.

Then came (as before) Last Day of Summer,.... Deep Green Sea, and In Between Days....all  were nice.  I felt that
the Last Day of Summer had more feeling to it live than on the CD, but I guess that is Robert's magic at work.

As with Sinking, I couldn't believe what I was hearing next.....it was Siamese Twins.  I could have sworn Robert
messed up the first few lines of this, but I was such in shock and screaming loudly, that I didn't hear them clearly.
Overall S.T was a little slower and a little bit mellower than the original Pornography version.

The rest of the first set was the same as the previous night in Stuttgart.

Once they came out again, the crowd was going crazy.  Robert announced we are going to play a few things off
Faith, and a chill went up my spine.  They started with All Cats Are Grey, which was slower than the CD version,
but nice......

They followed that with Drowning Man which was my favorite of the night.  Absolutely brilliant.  So much emotion,
so much feeling. I wanted to cry.  Well I had to suck it up, because they broke into Faith after that, and I was just
blown away.  I have read that this is Robert's favorite song, and he sang it as if so.

They exited the stage again, but the crowd was not ready to stop. They came back out and jammed M, another
huge favorite of mine, and followed that with Play For Today.  I think I was hyperventilating at this point!!! So much
fun and dancing going on.  If that wasn't enough, Just Like Heaven was next and the crowd went beserk.
EVERYONE was dancing.  The staple Cure song A Forest came next, and was faster than most versions I have
heard live.  Again another crowd pleaser.

They left the stage again, and the fans once again brought them back to the stage.  Robert proclaimed, this next
one is a bit difficult....then they started Pornography.  It was nice to hear this, but I think it was the worst sounding
songs of the night...hard to explain...it is just an odd song to play live.

Unfortunately, this is when I had to leave as my non-fanatical Cure  friend (who was driving) was giving me the
"lets beat the traffic" look, so I had to oblige.  I had had plenty of enjoyment though, and since I am going to the
Hamburg show as well as some East Coast US shows, I said o.k.

I would rank this show at the top of all shows I have seen.  To hear so many old songs pulled out of the hat was
truly a treat.  I was happy as a clam, and cant wait for the Hamburg show next Tuesday.

the day after we went to munich, for us it should be the perfect concert day, but:
this was bavarian as its best. we had just big problems with the security, they didn´t let as in the standing arena, no
because they sended us the wrong tickts. we were so angry, just had to take seat at the worst place.... we talked to
the boss of the security but we were wrong.... only one of the crew ( long grey hair ) was so polite, he sad to us, we
should wait 10 minutes after they started and he would bring us in... but we had bad luck, and made a "good" place,
were the sound was good, and we had a good look at the band. but the munich security was very very unpolite.....
i don´t have the playlist in my head anymore, because i was very aggressiv, and the evening and the concert is a
big time in my personal history, i will always remeber......
first of all, just get your chance and see the cure as its best, i think if they now split up, they made it on top. this is
how a band should play live, and play their last tour. i just can remeber the highlights :-)

the opening was just to cool down a little bit, and enyoing the songs, i think playing "watching me fall" on second
plce is wonderful i thought they will play the same static set like in stuttgart, but suddenly i heard the beginning of
siamese twins, i couldnt believe it. the first time in live to hear one of my favorite song.....sinking was perfect...
very intensiv, wonderful don´t know what to say...

1 encore: all cats are grey, drowning man, faith... it was so wionderful, almost perfect how they played these faith
songs in a row, drowing man, robert sang the "man" different , but it was much better, and faith with the wonderful
keyboard sample....

2nd encore: m, play for today, just like heaven, forest ( short version ) : played superb..simon finished forest with
an incredible bass "torture" longer and "harder" as on the show video.. robert smiled at him, went to the micro
and sayed "thank you" then it looks like he wanted to say " good night" but stopped and walked away....
and then they come back..... and played "pornography" i thought i was dreaming and i was sooo wonderfull, i
don´t know how to describe it....
the last song was disintegration... it closed an incredible concert....

after the concert we had troubles with they bad securityx again, because we just bought a last beer, and should
leave very fast...
then we searched for our car, we had to leave on an other gate... and saw the crew just putting their equipment into
the trucks.. just looked at them and the stuff ( which is very interesting for me as musician ) and then we saw
them.....

first roger came.. we talked about the show in stuttgart, about mp3 on thier homepage, when they play bsides (not
at all :-(( ) about the songs they rehearsd, and the songs played... he said they played  like cockatoos ) but shadow
said, no you haven´t played them, and he asked " why do you know this? " and he replied just look at the internet
roger, look at craigs " chain of flowers" page, he smiled and just said " craig.." :-)

roger is a very polite man, and asking him, is this really the last tour he sad " i think so, because we are getting too
old".. my answer was just " you look much younger with your new haircut, even younger than an the disintegration
time " and he laughed...
simon and perry went very fast to the bus, without talking anything to us, and i haven´t seen jason.. then robert
came... i just said "robert thank you for 20 years of wonderful music" he smiled, and signed me my tourbook to, i
asked him " and we are waiting for the new album, when will it be relaesed? " he smiled and just did a little
movement like on stage.. when he blows away a fly... and answered .. we will see.....

this was a incredibel moment.. and we just said goodbye and we will see us in vienna on tuesday... he smiled and
said see you :-)

i can´t describe it , because i am so happy , this 2 concert were really more than great....

and i can´t wait to see them in vienna...........
