Good concert but not far away from my band´s favorite (Madrid 1989 at Ventas). Quite predictable selection, not a single surprise but the novelties. Real sold out with no empty spaces at Palacio de los Deportes. No much chance of dancing for the standing crowd.

Very nice how samplers of  ‘Plain song’ last for more than a minute so people get anxious to heard the strong beginning.

Also recorded (?) samplers on ‘Plain song’, ‘Pictures of you’ and probably ‘A hundred years’ but we still miss proper keyboards on mentioned and others like ‘Why can’t i be you’, ‘Just like heaven’, or ‘In between days” and of course ‘A strange day’.

Very funny version of 'Hot, hot, hot'. Speed-up versions of  ‘Prayers for rain’ and ‘A forest’ (very nice ending of Robert at guitar riff and Simon punishing bass at the very end).

Outstanding lightning and good proyections: on ‘A hundred years’ black and white pictures of the II World War (including picture used by Joy
Division as a cover of 'An Ideal of Living' showing a little boy on the getto with his hands up), a bullring on “The blood’, very good recall of entire video on ‘Jumping someelse’s train’.

Perfect performing of ‘Pictures of you’, ' A hundred years', ‘Love song’, but lazy and dispassionate of ‘Disintegration’. Could not see Roberts face as we were seated but he kept moving, much more that other times I saw him. He seamed having fun as Simon and Porl. both in a real good moment and real into the show right from the start. Did anyone undertood what Robert said about spanish audience?

Prescindible ‘never enough’ as always, very interesting and beautiful ‘Please proyect’. Don’t understand why always Robert destroys 'alt.end'
singing on chorus witch is so strong on the album version, that’s a tradition with ‘Why can’t I be you’ not the very best for closing such a long time playing.
